Willing Hearts, Helpful Hands Joins AmeriCorps
(March 1, 2011 New Hyde Park, NY USA)
We are excited to announce that Willing Hearts, Helpful Hands has joined Legacy Corps! Through this exciting program, volunteers who provide 8-10 hours of service per week will be eligible for a living allowance and an educational award.

If you are looking for a meaningful volunteer experience, now is a great time to join us!
Our volunteer and caregiver training sessions are generally scheduled once per month. Call us at (718) 289-2100, ext. 4980 or email whhh@parkerinstitute.org to find out when the next session is scheduled. Note that all volunteers must complete this training before beginning their assignments.

Willing Hearts, Helpful Hands Program

Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation proudly announces the formation of Willing Hearts, Helpful Hands, a new program dedicated to assisting family caregivers of older adults. Funded by The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, Inc., Willing Hearts, Helpful Hands enlists and trains volunteers to assist family members who care for older adult loved ones.
